This is a competed grant, to award grant funding to an organisation (or organisations) to help Universal Credit claimants in England, Scotland and Wales to:
- make a new claim for Universal Credit
- maintain their new Universal Credit claim up until their first full correct payment
The support offer is to start on 1 April 2024 and will run for 2 years with the possibility of extending it for a further 12 months. However, funding beyond the first year is subject to the outcome at the next Spending Review. More detail can be found at section 23 of the Future Support Offer 2024 Grant Competition Specification.
It enables individuals to make a new claim to Universal Credit by providing practical support to anyone who needs it and will be delivered through digital and telephony channels, including webchat.
As a grant it must be delivered on a not-for-profit basis.
All applications must be sent to [email protected].
The deadline for applications is 11:59pm on 28 July 2023.
