Before you apply, you must follow the guidance on how to apply to protect a geographical food, drink or agricultural product name.

Download and save the specification template to your desktop to fill in electronically. Remember to save it after you’ve filled it in.

Email your TSG application

When you send in your TSG specification, you must:

  • include your name and contact details (full address and telephone number) in the body of your email
  • add ‘Protected food names’ to the subject field of your email
  • attach your specification template and supporting evidence

Northern Ireland applicants must state if they’re applying to the EU scheme, UK scheme, or both schemes.
