This asset recovery action plan, which is being published in parallel with the economic crime plan, builds on the government’s response to the National Audit Offfice (NAO) and Public Accounts Committee (PAC) reports and sets out how we will go further in improving our response to criminal finances.

The plan covers the legal, operational and public-private partnership actions that we will pursue to deliver a step change in the UK’s ability to tackle economic crime and undermine the ability of serious and organised criminals to operate.
