Details

The progress report includes:

  • information on regulatory provisions that have come into force or ceased to be in force during the parliamentary year
  • an assessment of the economic impact on business of the regulatory provisions

The report is a statutory obligation of the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act (SBEE) 2015.

Report corrected and updated due to a minor miscalculation in the BIT score for one measure (Table 2, page 10). The Department for Health and Social Care ‘Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (Coronavirus) Regulations 2021’, although a permanent measure, has impacts that fall exclusively in the first year. As a result the BIT score should have been recorded as equal to the EANDCB (Table 3, page 15).
