Details

Complaint that the union breached section 48(4) of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 in modifying the claimant’s election address for NEC elections for 2005-2007. The union conceded the breach. In making a declaration, the Certification Officer also specified the steps the union are taking to prevent a recurrence of the same or similar failure in the future, but deemed it inappropriate to make an enforcement order.
