Details

Complaint that the union modified the claimant’s election address in breach of section 48(4) of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992, in elections to its National Executive. In his declaration the Certification Officer detailed the steps taken by the union to prevent a recurrence of the same or similar failure in the future. In the circumstances of the case the Certification Officer deemed it inappropriate to make an enforcement order.
