Details

The claimant alleged the union had interfered in the ballot for the post of General Secretary in breach of section 51(3)(a)of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992. The claimant also alleged a breach of an implied rule of the union. The Certification Officer found against the claimant in both complaints.
