Details

The claimant alleged that the union had breached sections 52(2) and 48(6) of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 and breached a union rule in relation to election of the Joint General Secretary, Unite the Union (Amicus) Section. The Certification Officer dismissed the complaints of breaches of Statue but found a breach of union rule. He did not consider it appropriate to make an enforcement order on the union.
