Details

Four complaints alleging breaches of the union’s rules relating to disciplinary action taken by the claimant’s branch and the actions of the union’s London Regional Committee. In making one of the four declarations sought the Assistant Certification Officer found that the union had breached its rules by the branch suspending the claimant from benefit. In dismissing three other complaints the Assistant Certification Officer found that two of the complaints were not within his jurisdiction. The Assistant Certification Officer found it was not appropriate to issue an enforcement order.
