Details

Nine complaints alleging the union breached its rules relating to its disciplinary procedures and the constitution or proceedings of any executive committee. In dismissing all nine complaints the Assistant Certification Officer found that the union had not breached its rules in respect of seven of the complaints and that he did not have the jurisdiction to determine the other two complaints as the disciplinary action was taken against employees of the union and the Certification Officer is prevented by section 108A(5)(b) of the 1992 Act from hearing such complaints.
