Controlled Area Sign: Example of byelaws signage that is erected on the byelaws boundary of defence land. A ‘Controlled Area’ is an area subject to military byelaws that the public can access when it is not being used for the military purpose for which it is appropriated.
Protected Area Sign: Example of byelaws signage that is erected on the byelaws boundary of defence land. A ‘Protected Area’ is an area subject to military byelaws that the public cannot access at any time.
Combined Range Area Sign: Example of byelaws signage that is erected on the byelaws boundary of a Ministry of Defence firing range that the public can access when it is not being used for the military purpose for which it is appropriated and when red flags are not flying or red lights showing.
