Details

The purpose of this fund is to support the programme activity in support of the UK’s human rights objectives. We would welcome proposals that will help to deliver progress in the following areas:

  1. Strengthening coordination between human rights institutions at the federal, provincial and district level.

  2. Strengthening implementation at the federal and provincial level of legislation designed to protect the rights of minorities and vulnerable persons, particularly women and girls.

  3. Helping to create a more tolerant space for public debate to promote freedom of religion or belief.

We hereby give notice that funding for 2017/18 is now open and invite proposals that fit within the policy areas above.

The total funding available for project(s) is yet to be confirmed but we are initially seeking proposals of between £100,000 - £200,000.

How to apply:

Short form proposals should be sent in the attached format to the British High Commission via [email protected] The last day to submit concept notes is COP, 20th March 2017.
