COP26 President Alok Sharma and the Prime Minister’s Finance Advisor for COP26 Mark Carney are today urging CEOs of global private financial institutions to sign up to the Race to Zero ahead of COP26, joining a global group of organisations setting ambitious targets and actions plans to reduce emissions and build resilience.

Mark Carney, Nigel Topping - the High Level Climate Action Champion for COP26, and the COP26 Presidency will soon be launching a finance initiative as a collaboration with the Race to Zero

Today’s call to action is part of the wider Climate Ambition Summit where leaders across government, business and civil society are making new commitments to deliver on the Paris Agreement.
