Details

The order would authorise Network Rail to close or downgrade 25 level crossings of the railway line in the county of Cambridgeshire.

It would also authorise the carrying out of works including the:

  • removal of level crossings
  • diversion or re-designation of the status of certain:
    • public roads
    • footpaths
    • bridleways
    • restricted byways or byways open to all traffic
    • private rights of way
  • creation of new public and/or private rights of way
  • construction of footbridges and a bridleway bridge to carry out new public and private rights of way over drains or watercourses
