Details

The purpose of this report by the Committee on Medical Aspects of Radiation in the Environment (COMARE) was to examine whether there is, or has been any unusual incidence of cancer in the vicinity of the former Greenham Common Airbase and whether there is or has been any association with local levels of radioactivity in the area. The finding of this report confirmed the findings of the studies described in COMARE’s third report.
