Details

The Industrial Injuries Advisory Council (IIAC) considered the available evidence and concluded on balance that the case for prescription has not yet been made. However, the council encourages further research in occupations exposed to ionising radiation and would welcome the submission of further evidence as it emerges.

The council does not recommend any changes to the list of prescribed diseases for which people can claim Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit.
