Details

The Intellectual Property Act received Royal Assent on 14 May 2014.

The Act includes measures that will help clarify and modernise the Intellectual Property framework and simplify and improve design protection.

This guidance is intended to help explain to designers, employers and businesses the changes to design law and sets out which of these will come into effect on 1 October 2014 and which are expected to come into force during 2015.
