This technical report describes an initial study based on the analysis of landfill leachate certified reference material LGC6177.

The method can differentiate clearly between chromium (III) and chromium (VI). This is particularly valuable in the case of the more toxic chromium (VI) which also occurs in other matrices, such as food and cosmetics, where the method developed could subsequently be applied.
