Details

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has responded to the Future of transport regulatory review: zero emission vehicles, led by The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV).

The CMA’s response draws on its market study into electric vehicle (EV) charging, completed earlier this year. The response highlights a number of key areas considered by the CMA and recommendations made in its market study which are relevant to OZEV’s consultation – including in relation to the role of local authorities in charging roll-out, the Rapid Charging Fund for charging along motorways in England and the consumer experience of charging.

For more information, visit the findings of the CMA’s EV charging market study.
