Annex A includes a Notice of Detention under Schedule 7 to the Terrorism Act 2000. This was updated on 25 September 2019 and you should use the new version as shown in Home Office Circular 008/2019.
Annex B includes information on training and accreditation of examining officers and review officers under schedule 7 to the Terrorism Act 2000.
You must also read Home Office circular 001/2016 with this code of practice. Until a revised code of practice is published, this circular provides guidance to how paragraphs 18 and 19 of the code should be read.
This code of practice is issued under paragraph 6 of Schedule 14 to the Terrorism Act 2000. The code was amended in March 2015 to reflect the clarifications made to Schedule 7 under the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015.
