Details

Equality impact assessment about changes to conditionality, sanctions and hardship under the Welfare Reform Act 2012. The main changes are:

  • personalised conditionality for couples on benefit
  • reform of the sanctions system so that it more effectively encourages recipients to meet their responsibilities
  • changes to hardship payments
