Details

The Conflict Pool funds conflict prevention, stabilisation and peacekeeping activities that meet the UK Government’s conflict prevention priorities as set out in the Building Stability Overseas Strategy. It brings together the work of the three departments traditionally involved in conflict prevention work:

  • The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO)
  • The Department for International Development (DFID)
  • The Ministry of Defence (MoD)

to conduct joint analysis, establish shared priorities and design and implement joint conflict prevention and management programmes.

The Building Stability Overseas Strategy and the Conflict Pool Strategic Guidance, which sets out how the Conflict Pool works to meet the BSOS priorities, can both be found here.
