Details

Contacts delivered for children other than the 4 mandated childhood reviews, and referrals of children into other services. Contacts and referrals are broken down by the following child characteristics:

  • age
  • ethnicity
  • deprivation
  • child development
  • vulnerability

Also includes group sessions delivered by health visitors.

The analysis gives further detail to that available from the health visitor metrics and outcomes for children in the early years which are produced routinely by Public Health England (PHE) based on data from the interim national reporting system for children’s public health 0 to 5 years . Data from the interim national reporting system is available in the early years section of the child and maternal health profiles in PHE’s Fingertips tool.
