Details

The Chancellor of the Exchequer has written to the Office of Tax Simplification (OTS) responding to their recommendations on simplifying the computation of corporation tax and stamp duty on paper documents which were made in their reports published in July 2017.

The letters thank the OTS for their work in this space and detail the recommendations which the Chancellor has decided to take forward. The letter responding to the corporation tax computation review also includes a request for the OTS to carry out a follow up review on capital allowances.
