This narrative document sets out the effect of the Cremation, Coroners and Death Notification (Amendment) Regulations 2024 on the Cremation (England and Wales) Regulations 2008 (“the 2008 Regulations”) in relation to deaths occurring in Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or Channel Islands, but where the deceased person is to be cremated in England or Wales.
