Overall Objective for the Qualification
The main purpose of this qualification is to enable the learner to develop the knowledge and skills to perform as a procurement manager, including surveying local resources for suppliers and commodities and how to manage quality control.
Pre-entry requirements
There is a pre-course learning for the food safety element of the underpinning course. The learner has to complete a Level 2 refresher and declare that they have read and understood the EPC card holder training (Electronic Purchasing Card) and also declare it to their mentors. Both pre-entry requirements need to be sent to the courses clerk.
