Details

A request was made for details of the roles and responsibilities of organisations associated with the Dart Charge payments system. In response Highways England disclosed information about the roles and responsibilities of Sanef, Highways England, Dart Charge, NSL, DVLA, Traffic Enforcement Centre, Traffic Penalty Tribunal, Connect Plus and enforcement agents; the number of legal actions taken up against DartCharge and the cost of rectifying errors; the number of DartCharge accounts that have been incorrectly closed; the number of crossings made since 30 April 2014. In response, Highways England disclosed the information requested.
