Details

The second statement of new regulation is a forward look of all regulations (including measures which are deregulatory) being introduced by the department which impact on businesses. They are scheduled to come into force between 1 July and 31 December 2011.

This is published every 6 months to give businesses an indication of when regulations affecting them will be coming into effect.

The headline figures show:

  • the measures we are introducing this year will reduce burdens on businesses by an estimated £4.26 million per year
  • of the 5 measures we are introducing, 3 measures are estimated to have net cost savings to business.
