Details

This report sets out the outcome of the Department for Transport’s (DfT’s) review of the 99 powers of entry in its area of responsibility. A power of entry is a right for a person to legally enter defined premises, such as businesses, vehicles or land for specific purposes. The report explains what action DfT proposes to take to remove those that are no longer needed and add safeguards to others.
