Details

A report providing information on 6 projects which the Department for Transport provided funding to in 2014 to 2015. Each of the projects was a discrete scheme helping to deliver on a number of departmental objectives in a local, sustainable transport and maritime context.

Background information on funded projects

Many of the transport solutions needed in the UK can be easily delivered by local organisations with specialised and local expertise. The department will always seek to use the best placed organisation to meet its objectives, whether in a local or wider context.
