Details
The letter from Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Children and Families Will Quince MP revokes the statutory direction issued to Sunderland City Council on 31 March 2017, and all subsequent directions issued thereof.
The direction required the council to:
- engage with Together for Children Sunderland and other partners to improve services
- co-operate with the Secretary of State and DfE’s advisers and officials
The direction replaced an earlier statutory direction issued to the council on 20 July 2015.
