This report presents findings from a survey and in-depth interviews with current and former recipients of Discretionary Housing Payments (DHPs).

The research was commissioned to understand, from the recipients’ perspective, the impacts that DHPs have in preventing households from experiencing financial difficulties, which can impact on their housing circumstances.
