Details

In May 2023, the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities launched a new framework which sets out a clear and defined vision for ending rough sleeping, which is that it is prevented wherever possible, and where it does occur it is rare, brief, and non-recurring.

This was developed with Centre for Homelessness Impact and 5 pilot areas (London, Greater Manchester, Newcastle, West Midlands and Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole).

This release provides information about the five core indicators of the framework, that sit under the four aims of vision.  This is the first quarterly publication and covers monthly information up to September 2023. The information in the release is management information not official statistics.
