Enrol with RPA to export hops and hops products to the EU or movement to NI
To export hops and hops products to the European Union (EU) or to move them to Northern Ireland (NI), you must enrol with the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) before you can apply for and receive EU Attestations of Equivalence (AoE).

Details
The European Union (EU) requires that an Attestation of Equivalence (AoE) is used to export hops and hops products to the EU from third countries.
In the United Kingdom (UK), the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) will issue EU AoEs for hops and hops products grown or processed in Great Britain (GB).
Read more information about when you will require an EU AoE issued by the RPA.
Enrol with RPA
Before applying for an EU AoE, you must first enrol with RPA.
To enrol, complete the EU AoE Enrolment form and return it to either the email or postal address shown on the form.
RPA will then:
- record your authorised postal and email addresses
- check that an email address used to apply for an EU AoE is authorised
If you want to update your details, you will need to submit another EU AoE Enrolment form.
Contact RPA
If you have any queries, contact RPA.
