Details

The Environment Agency delivers its work across England in operational boundaries. Use the map to work out which region or area applies to you.

The Environment Agency changed its operating structure on 1 April 2014, moving from a ‘region’ to ‘area’ structure. Some information will still be structured by region, so both maps are shown on this page.

In 2016 the Environment Agency aligned its area boundaries with Natural England so went from 16 to 14 areas. These 14 operational areas are grouped around 4 hubs.

In addition, a London area team works with colleagues across the 2 operational areas of Kent, South London and East Sussex, and Hertfordshire and North London, to form a strategic picture of London’s environment and flood risks. They also manage the Environment Agency’s relationship with a number of stakeholders across London.
