Details
These reports provide the main findings from live tests and trials of the new Environmental Land Management (ELM) scheme.
Defra started tests and trials in 2018. Almost 3,000 farmers and land managers are involved across different sectors, regions and land types. They provide evidence through progress reports, regular meetings with Test and Trial Officers and Thematic Working Group discussions to exchange findings and evidence.
Every quarter, these reports will summarise progress against 6 themes:
- land management plans
- advice and guidance
- spatial prioritisation
- collaboration
- payments
- delivery mechanisms
