Details

Pilots were set up for school age delivery of the extension of the influenza immunisation programme to children. The aim was to assess implementation issues such as workload, uptake and logistics of delivery in a variety of settings to reflect full-scale roll-out as closely as possible.

This report gives an overview of the experiences from the pilot years 2013 to 2014 and 2014 to 2015 seasons and also includes information from the national roll out to all children of appropriate age for school years 1 and 2.
