Details

Temporary duties

Temporary duties are short-term roles which are either based in London or overseas to provide cover for jobs that have been vacated at short notice.

They are usually for a period of up to 6 months, but could last for up to 11 months. The job specification will confirm how long each role will last.

Out of cycle

Some roles are advertised outside of its Appointment Board process. These roles tend to require more specialist skills or experience.
