The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) is the UK’s independent regulator responsible for promoting high quality corporate governance and reporting to foster investment.

This annual report sets out the achievements and challenges of the Financial Reporting Council from April 2013 to March 2014. It covers:

  • the strategic report of the FRC’s board of directors
  • reports by the board and its committees on the governance of the FRC
  • the financial statements of FRC
  • the statutory report by the FRC on the discharge of its statutory responsibilities.
