Details

This guide is for all managers, employers, occupiers and owners of transport premises and facilities including:

  • train, bus, coach and airport transportation terminals and exchanges
  • rail and road tunnels
  • passenger ferry ports and facilities
  • shipping ports and terminals

This guide does not apply to the offices and shops within transport premises and facilities or the actual modes of transport (eg cars, buses, trains).

This guide has been published by the Secretary of State under Article 50 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO) to assist responsible persons in meeting their duties under the FSO.
