The variation effective from 00:01hrs Friday 01 December 2023 is as follows:  

1. Introduction of Sole Dredge Bycatch Limit in Area VIIe

  • Affecting O10 Non-Sector licence categories A (11/99), A (Islands) (12/99), and 10m and under non-sector licence categories A (91/99) and A (Limited (94/99).
SPECIES SEA AREA (AS STATED IN ANNEXE) NEW CATCH LIMIT (AS STATED IN ANNEXE)
Sole VIIe The relevant catch limit depending on licence category of which no more than 0.2 tonnes may be retained on board or landed when fishing using scallop dredges (strictly by-catch only).

2. Over 10m Non-Sector Herring Quota Decrease

  • Affecting licence categories A (11/99), A (Islands) (12/99)
