Ofcom has submitted the JPRG Technical Switchover Plan and Switchover Implementation Plan to the government, meeting a commitment given in the Digital Radio Action Plan. We are now considering the plan.

One of the outputs is this document: Ofcom’s analysis showing the position of FM and AM radio stations within planned multiplex areas. We are publishing this today so that all FM/AM stations know their coverage as a % of households in the 59 local multiplex areas.

The table shows figures both by licence and by service, where licensees have been given permission by Ofcom to share all programmes and co-locate in approved areas under the terms of the Digital Economy Act 2010.
