I am writing in response to your email dated 9th April 2022 requesting the following information:

Under the Freedom of Information Act, please could I request the following information?

  • Please advise if any of the following services are outsourced to third parties.
    • HR
    • Payroll
  • If the answer to question 1 is yes, please provide the name of the company or companies.

  • If the answer the 1 is yes, please provide the start and end date of the contracts.

I am treating your correspondence as a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).

In response to your queries, I have completed a search for the information within the Defence Electronics & Components Agency (DECA), and I can confirm that we do hold information in scope of your request and I detail the answers below.

  • If the answer to question 1 is yes, please provide the name of the company or companies.
    • Payroll is provided by CGI
  • If the answer the 1 is yes, please provide the start and end date of the contracts.
    • Contract start – quarter 3, 2017
    • Contract end – quarter 3, 2019
    • Contract extension to quarter 3, 2023

If you are not satisfied with this response or you wish to complain about any aspect of the handling of your request, then you should contact me in the first instance.
