This report is the first in a series of a quarterly reviews to provide an update on developments in food and feed law and related scientific and regulatory issues.

The report includes changes to maximum limits of regulated additives and pesticides in food, information on new allergen laws, and an update on changes to regulations providing minimum meat content standards for certain meat products presented for sale directly to the consumer. It also includes changes to import controls and an update on Local Authority enforcement activity.
