Ask the court to witness your step-parent parental responsibility agreement: Form C(PRA2)
Use this form to record an agreement between a child’s parents and a step-parent (who is the spouse or civil partner of a parent) that the step-parent should have parental responsibility for the child.

Making a step-parent responsibility agreement will affect the legal position of the parents and the step-parent. You should all seek legal advice before you make the agreement.
Both living parents with parental responsibility must agree.
