Please note that the maximum email size the department can receive is 20 MB. As such we encourage applicants, where possible, to keep their applications below this limit. However, if the email exceeds this file size applicants should send an additional email, making clear it is to be considered as part of the same bid.
Regarding file sharing services we ask that applicants send their application and appendages as email attachments, however we can accept documents through Microsoft Sharepoint if applicants have Microsoft Office 365.
The Future High Streets Fund is an essential part of Our Plan for the High Street, providing co-funding towards capital projects that bring transformative change. We want to see the regeneration of our town centres through innovative proposals around transport, housing delivery and our public services.
The Fund will operate as a two-stage application process.
Applications for Phase 1 calls for local authorities to submit Expressions of Interest to [email protected] by 22 March 2019 setting out their challenges and strategic approach to regenerating town centres.
We will assess these and make an announcement on places moving forward to Phase 2 in summer 2019.
Please note that we have updated the guidance in the prospectus and bidding authorities are no longer required to publish their expressions of interest.
