Details

The annual report of the chief medical officer 2016 subtitled ‘generation genome’ noted the potential for improving care to patients and considered how we currently utilise genomics in our health and care system. The CMO challenged the UK National Screening Committee (UK NSC) to look at the opportunities offered by genomics for present and potential screening practices. This report provides a summary of these opportunities.
