Details

When making byelaws councils should use this model byelaw set and adapt it as required. The accompanying guidance notes should be consulted when using these model byelaws.

This model set includes byelaws on:

  • riding and vehicles on road margins and verges
  • skateboarding
  • fairground attractions causing obstruction to traffic
  • dangerous games near highways
  • touting
  • urinating in public
  • interference with-life saving equipment
  • climbing upon and hanging from bridges
