On 24 March 2016, the House of Lords Select Committee on the Equality Act 2010 and Disability, published its report on the impact the Equality Act 2010 has on disabled people.

The report was following several months of oral evidence sessions and the receipt of written evidence from many different stakeholders. The report contained 55 recommendations that impact the policies of several Government Departments.

This document sets out the Government’s response to the Select Committee’s report.

This paper was presented to Parliament by the Minister for Women and Equalities by command of Her Majesty on 6 July 2016.
