Details

HM Treasury requires that all central government departments should publish details of their spending for transactions over £25,000 and publish monthly data by the last working day of each month. This Department has lowered its threshold and publishes its transactions over £500.

Available below is the spending report for Government Procurement Cards.

Points to note on this report:

  • Spend data for Government Procurement Cards covers the period February 2011 and March 2011.
  • Government Procurement Cards are available to all UK public sector organisations, including central government, local government and the NHS.
  • Government Procurement Cards are issued to employees with responsibility for buying goods and services. These employees are made accountable for their activities, supported by management information that provides details of every transaction.

This data will continue to be published, on a month by month basis, along with the department’s monthly spend data.
